The Orphan God

A fiery young woman attempts to control her fate despite being condemned to death as a sacrifice, but little did she know, her rebellion was exactly what the strange deity desired.

This is a project I worked on during my last year of university. Here are early concepts I created for "The Orphan God", a folk horror story I created.

Early Concepts and Explorations

During this phase I spent time thinking about the two main characters in the story—Dandelion, the main heroine, and The Orphan God—and tried sketching out different appearances for them.

Finalizing Character Designs

During this phase I cleaned up and colored the designs that I decided to go with for my final design presentation.
